Remember when you were little and agonized over whether you’d be on the naughty or nice list? You knew there was evidence in both corners but if pressed to defend yourself you could fluff up the “nice” talking points to save yourself. Well, screw all that. Now that we’re adults we can admit that we’re all alternatingly naughty and nice, so it’s time that we just embrace the idea and we’ll all be better off for it. Which is why Turtle Creek Chorale’s latest holiday production, Naughty & Nice: A Very Turtle Christmas II: Liza’s Wish List, is a good palate cleanser for the unrelenting holiday cheer. Because every holiday needs visits from Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe and Patsy Cline. The show starts at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Dallas City Performance Hall, and if you’re late your name is bypassing “naughty” and just going on the shit list. Tickets start at $39.
