Valley House has shown the work of Brian Cobble five times now, and one look at his impressive pastels is all you need to see why the gallery books him so frequently. His landscapes are almost photo-realistic, yet still capture something soulful about the settings. Or maybe he’s got compromising photos (or paintings) of the gallery owner. Even if that were the case, you should still check out Brian Cobble: the edge of town, on display through July 3 at Valley House Gallery, 6616 Spring Valley Road.
