The other morning, before my alarm clock woke me by opening the electronic blinds while reciting “Eye of the Tiger” in perfect iambic pentameter, I dreamt that L.O.U., my robot companion, forgot to program my weekly breakfast menu into the kitchen’s control center! Well, maybe that was all a dream, but modern innovations seem to have taken over our daily lives nevertheless. Just ask artist Lloyd Lowe Jr. who explores the concept in his exhibition So…how are things? Check it out Thursday through March 12 at Rising Gallery, 4631 Insurance Lane. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Call 214-634-6262 or visit risinggallery.com.
