Maybe yours is covered in cascading piles of paper, wads of discarded ideas and a rubber-band ball you’ve worked on for several years. Or, perhaps your desk is pristine, not a file or paper clip out of place. What your desk says about you could parallel what our entertainment districts say about our neighborhoods. The Dallas Architecture Forum hosts a panel discussion, Messy Desks are Creativity, Clean Desks are Sterile, moderated by David Farrell of Good Fulton Farrell, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Farrell will guide the discussion concerning the differences between planned districts such as Arts District and Victory Plaza, and organic ones such as Bishop Arts and Henderson Avenue. Is either one more authentic or less true once thriving? This panel is free of charge and hosted at the Dallas Center for Architecture, 1909 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Suite 100. Visit dallasarchitectureforum.org/panels.html.
