Secretly Canadian (and publicly awesome) Norwegian neo-crooner has the innocent face of a boy and the smooth, persuasive voice of, well, Jens Lekman. There’s just nothing else out there quite like his combination of kitsch, sincerity, romance and quirkiness. Whether it’s melancholy piano ballads or meshing dance beats and strings, Lekman’s eclectic mix of sweet, super-Euro songs make his upcoming performance at the Granada Theater the perfect rock and roll date night. Doesn’t matter if he’s into Freddie Mercury and she’s into Frank Sinatra, Lekman is sure to ignite spontaneous hand-holding among even the most musically diverse couples. Don’t miss local songstress Sarah Jaffe, who opens. Doors open at 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Granada, 3524 Greenville Ave. Tickets are $10 to $14. Visit granadatheater.com.
