Thanks to the rise of technology, mankind seems to have forgotten the simple of joy of two simple things: taking a picture and walking. Everyone with a phone in their pocket has a camera that can take digital pictures for us and thanks to Uber and Rascal Scooters, we never need to walk with our own two feet ever again. The Instant Film Society is trying to preserve these ancient ways of life with the Third Annual PolaWalk at the State Fair of Texas at 12 p.m. Saturday. Participants can join the walk with their favorite Polaroid or instant film camera and shoot away at the sights as they go for a nice, long, leisurely walk. You'll not only get the exercise that your flabby body craves but you'll photographic evidence to prove that you actually did it. They will meet at Big Tex in the State Fair (3921 Martin Luther King Blvd). More information at instantfilmsociety.com.
