Kian Hervey started writing for the Dallas Observer in 2020. (Yes, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.) Her love of culture led her to covering food openings, art shows, and things to do. When she's not freelance writing or transforming corporate, Kian enjoys traveling, creative communities, and more. She earned her journalism degrees from SMU (bachelor's) and Harvard (master's).
