A couple of days back, courtesy the Dallas Police Department, we watched five men boost $40,000 worth of jewels from a Stemmons Expressway wholesaler. Today, against thanks to a DPD-provided video, we’re offered this look at three men ripping the office door out of the Malones Cost Plus on 3939 S. Polk Monday at 3:30 in the a.m. DPD suspects the men of multiple burglaries in the southern sector — if only because, since July, there’s been a rash of similar crimes involving suspects using hand tools to “smash windows, pry doors or knock holes in walls from adjacent businesses to gain entry,” at which point they grab a safe and toss it into a waiting car. There have been 10 offenses total. So watch your safe.
