Fairmount Neighborhood Association: Festivus

Fairmount kicks off our holiday season with this wonderful night of merriment! Guests begin at One Safe Place (1100 Hemphill St.), where they’ll find family activities, Santa and Mrs Claus, food trucks, and a hot chocolate and cider cart. However, the pinnacle of the evening is browsing our sponsored Christmas trees, decorated by that sponsor in whatever way they like best! Many include funky decor and gift cards to other local businesses hung like ornaments! Guests can purchase raffle tickets to win one of these sponsored Christmas trees! Finally, they can pick up the official route map with a $10 donation or by donating a new, unwrapped toy to One Safe Place. The map guides visitors on a self-guided holiday lights tour through our historic neighborhood. This year’s Festivus will be held Saturday, December 13, from 5:00–8:00 PM at One Safe Place.
