If you haven’t been to the Bishop Bazaar you must make haste. This local vendor market has over 150 vendors, taking place once (sometimes twice) a month along West 9th Street and Bishop Avenue. And it’s lovely.

Among the many stalls lined up along the street are diverse options for sweet treats, fun drinks, full meals and so much more. There is something for everyone here, along with a good bit of shopping too.

The following list offers visitors a quick guide to food options that will delight and satiate any hunger pangs.

Cheros Latin Kitchen
Cheros Latin Kitchen is a Salvadorian food truck with classics like pupusas, including the standard chicharron con queso, frijol con queso and revuelta. Additionally, they sell Salvadoran tamales wrapped in plantain leaves, platano frito (fried plantain), papas chucas (Salvadoran fries) and a “Pu-Taco,” which is their take on a taco using a cheese pupusa as a tortilla with meat on top. Check out the rest of their menu online.
