Haystack Burgers & Barley, the new burger restaurant we told you about in April, will celebrate its grand opening tomorrow. Unlike Hopdoddy, Liberty Burger and countless other burger restaurants, Haystack is a singular entity owned by Richardson locals Kevin and Jenny Galvan and Rob and Christine Wondoloski.

They’ll be sampling some of the appetizers served at the restaurant and have invited a few beer brewers from Revolver Brewing, Four Corners Brewery and Lakewood Brewery to come out for the event from 5-6:30 p.m.

In case you’re burgered out (someone has to be burgered out) Haystack actually offers more sandwiches on its menu than hunks of ground beef. There’s a mushroom version for those crazy vegetarians, a couple of chicken sandwiches, a club and a grilled cheese.

A news release announcing the opening touts a VIP burger card give away. The recipient will be entitled to one free burger a week for an entire year. Good luck explaining this one to your doctor.
