Last week the newly opened Korean fried chicken restaurant Bonchon announced that it would temporarily close to give management time to hire and retrain new staff. Bonchon was barely a week old by that point but was already so popular that the kitchen and waitstaff couldn’t keep up with the demand. As of this week they’re back open, with specials on mimosas, bloody marys and beer flights all day. That’s as close to a Christmas miracle as some of us could ask for.
