A healthy fast-casual restaurant – from Sam Fox, the restaurateur behind True Food Kitchen – is coming to Rosewood Court in Uptown: Flower Child, which will occupy 4,800 square feet facing Cedar Springs, according to a press release.
Opening in late 2019, Rosewood Court will expand a 1,500-square-foot patio in front of the restaurant outdoor space that will seat more than 75 people. There will also be a wine bar “serving house-made, organic cocktails, wine by the bottle and a selection of local beers,” according to the release. But on the food menu, Flower Child is all about catering to diets du jour.

“The Flower Child concept features specially crafted and flavorful menu items that cater to any diet preference, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free,” according to the release. “Guests can choose from a variety of bowls, wraps, grains and greens made from scratch with fresh ingredients that will leave guests feeling full and soul-satisfied.”
