I took a friend who’d been fired recently over to Legal Grounds in Lakewood for some coffee and legal advice, but once we settled into easy chairs with cups of Colombian and a cookie, unemployment didn’t look so bad. Certainly, it seemed better than trying to write about another coffee house, when there’s more than one on every corner. There are almost as many coffee shops as there are lawyers, but Legal Grounds is the only place you can get both: Besides the on-duty attorney, there is a library of law books and a number of do-it-yourself kits for little affairs like divorces, which anyone can pull off with only a little practice.
