A caffeine pioneer, this funky, personable little coffee bar found the niche before behemoth Starbucks and wannabe Coffee Haus came to the ‘hood. So, drop a syllable, change your bar attitude, and voila! Welcome to Shell’s, a New Orleans oyster bar, sort of. Oysters are not the only attraction here–the menu features pot roast, muffaletta, seafood–a range of home-cooking, Louisiana-style.
