Hypnotic Donuts will begin offering vegan doughnuts, according to a news release they sent out this morning. The new doughnuts are apparently the product of nearly six months of work testing out recipes to find the best way to make doughnuts without eggs or dairy.
For now, the doughnuts will only be available during Monday and Tuesday, sold with either a plain or chocolate glaze for $1.50. They’re also offering vegan cinnamon rolls for $2. If enough vegans converge on the East Dallas doughnut shop early in the week, owner James St. Peter says the confections will be made available more frequently.
