The Henry is a modern American restaurant from Fox Restaurant Concepts, which also owns Flower Child and North Italia. The concept has thrived in Uptown since 2019, and after a fruitful seven-year run, it’s expanding.

In late 2026, The Henry will expand to Legacy West in Plano. This will be the second location in North Texas and its thirteenth nationwide.

The new location hopes to bring Uptown’s momentum with it. The Henrey is one of the original all-day cafes in Dallas, and they execute it perfectly here. An early morning coffee is a seamless transition into weekend brunch or evening cocktails.

The New Space

Editor's Picks

The Henry’s new location in Plano will span around 13,000 square feet. The space will include all the same industrial, but classically-styled details: indoor and outdoor dining areas, a full-service coffee bar for quick service, the open kitchen, a central bar and a private dining room.

While it is an import from Arizona, the concept fits like a glove in our culinary scene. Legacy West is a very natural next step for the restaurant.

The menu here follows a similar blueprint to many brunch/lunch cafes, but because The Henry prioritizes high-quality ingredients and greater standards of execution, there is a clear separation between them and the next average brunch spot.

Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner

Related

Breakfast and brunch have many items to get excited about like the cinnamon sugar French toast, smoked salmon bagel, fresh baked pastries, roasted turkey French dip and the short rib potstickers.

For lunch and dinner, they have The Henry’s (famous to them) pretzels and provolone fondue, hot honey crispy chicken sandwich, Korean prime skirt steak and blackened sea bass tacos.

Happy hour on the rooftop is the best way to be introduced to the beverage program here. It runs Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m., and that will likely be the same for the Plano location. During it, they serve $12 specialty cocktails, $7 draughts, $9 wines and a small menu of light bites.

The rest of the beverage menu offers more craft cocktails like their Greatest Neighborhood Margarita. Branching off of that are craft beers, bubbles, and both new and old world wines. Bottled and canned drinks like ciders, zero-proof drinks and what could be half a menu dedicated to an espresso shot in near infinite combinations.

When The Henry opens in Legacy West later this year, it will join restaurants like Mesero, Taverna, Uchiko, Mexican Sugar and many others.
