Sons of Hermann Hall turned 100 this year, but that doesn’t mean the spot still doesn’t know how to throw a badass party. The geriatric venue has been celebrating the big 1-0-0 with “100 Days of Celebration for 100 Years of Existence” which kicked off April 1 and will run through Saturday, July 9. Tonight, the Dallas Observer is throwing a party within the party with our monthly Tweet Up bash. The monthly soiree takes place at Sons of Hermann Hall from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and as usual boasts cheap drinks. There will be 50 cent beers, dollar wells, live music by Frank in the Middle, and free — yes, free — munchies. Think Bakers ribs, beef and chicken slider sandwiches, potato salad, relish, cheese, rolls and fruit. We recommend getting there early to guarantee snagging a bite to eat.
