For folks who get in the habit of wandering around the Food & Fiber Pavilion and tasting Texas-made snacks during State Fair season, the Dallas Farmers Market Friends group is again offering a way to keep that sampling lifestyle going.

The organization is sponsoring its 16th annual Hoedown on Thursday, November 4. The fundraiser features food from local chefs (made with Texas ingredients, of course) and area specialty producers.

“The event will honor our rich heritage while anticipating a thriving future for the market,” the Friends’ website promises.

Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
