Is it a bar or a counter-service burger joint? Village Burger Bar--a brightly lit, sleek, crisp and minimally decorated spot nestled in an enormous glorified strip mall called the West Village--is both. Along with decent burgers that come with regular or sweet-potato French fries, the bar offers premium liquors and a small but interesting selection of beers including Belgians and domestic craft brews.
