Local rap duo A.Dd+ continue their ascent, this time enlisting corporate support from Red Bull, who’s sponsoring an early February tour that will see them hit six Texas cities in the span of seven days.

This will be a coming-out party of sorts, with A.Dd+ playing shows with some of Texas’ most influential rap acts, including Paul Wall, Michael 5000 Watts, Chingo Bling and Bun B, as well as New Orleans’ Mannie Fresh. Along for the ride are Houston’s The Niceguys, Austin’s Kydd Jones and San Antonio’s Worldwide. DJ Sober, A.Dd+’s regular DJ, will also be on the trip.

Red Bull has dubbed this tour an instructional affair, with the new guys taking notes from the veterans. With any luck, by the end of the trip our boys will make the contacts necessary to get them touring nationwide. Catch them tomorrow night at the Granada before they take off.

Feb 1: Houston, TX @ Warehouse Live (w/ Mannie Fresh) Feb 2: Ft. Worth, TX @ Aardvark Bar (w/ Paul Wall) Feb 3: Dallas, TX @ The Prophet Bar (w/ Chingo Bling) Feb 4: Austin, TX @ Scoot Inn (w/ Cold Cris and PR maven Nancy Byron) Feb 6: San Antonio, TX @ On the Half Shell (w/ Michael 5000 Watts) Feb 7: Corpus Christi, TX @ House of Rock (w/ Bun B)
