Speaking of music videos, Air Review has a new one today featuring their Dallas Observer Music Awards-nominated song, “America’s Son.”

It’s a beautifully set video, directed by Justin Ransom and taking place in the woods, as a young boy scurries about, runs around and, eventually, buries a time capsule with a hand-written note. Eventually, all grown up, the same character returns and finds the same capsule.

Tough to say what’s written on that note, but it sure feels important. As does, well, just the song in general. As the band performed it last night, it felt especially heavy, with its subtle angst and lyrics that speak to the restlessness of the American spirit and the lack of givens in an American upbringing.

Give the video a watch after the jump.
