With the NHL playoffs officially underway, sports commentary site BleacherReport.com has decided to offer up its theme song choices for each team's run for the Stanley Cup.
Bleacher Report's pick for the Stars? The Rasmus' "In The Shadows."
Um, OK. Why, exactly?
"Marty Turco’s a great goalie, but his team keeps making an early exit from the play-offs. They’re in the shadow of the stronger teams. Dallas fans should look for Brad Richards to find his groove, or odds are they’ll be overshadowed again."
Yeah, it works with that clever "overshadowed" quip, I guess. And as dude-rock goes, I guess there are worse songs out there.
But there's got to be a better choice out there, right? I dunno, but I'm pretty sure that, if I cared about the NHL, I could come up with one... -- Pete Freedman
