On Friday night, with a gig at The Moon in Fort Worth, The Burning Hotels will celebrate the release of its sophomore album Novels, an album we reviewed in last week’s print edition. Also last week, we offered you a free mp3 of the new album’s lead single, “Austin’s Birthday.”

But the album itself comes out today. So, to celebrate today (I guess), the band’s passed along another mp3 from the disc. And we like it enough that we figured we’d pass it along.

So, after the jump, check out “To Whom It May Concern,” a song that, like “Austin’s Birthday,” is very heavy on the Texas love. Only, whereas the other is about dying in Texas, this one’s about being born here.
