Today is the release date for Krush The Enemy, the debut CD from a new thrash band featuring some old Dallas metal pros.
In case you haven't read my review yet, Warbeast features singer Bruce Corbitt, best known from his days in the legendary Rigor Mortis, as well as Gammacide's Scott Shelby, Rick Perry and Alan Bovee.
The band formed in 2006 as Texas Metal Alliance, with members of Rotting Corpse and Hammer Witch, as a means to play songs from band members' previous projects. Eventually, though, the group started writing original material. Their demos then caught the ear of former Pantera singer Phil Anselmo, who signed the band to his Housecore Records label.
Check out the video above for "Scorched Earth Policy," then, after the jump and courtesy of the band and the label, download "Stalker" to hear what grabbed his attention.
