Mexican superstar Carín León is bringing Tour Norteamérica 2026 to Dallas, marking another major moment in the artist’s rapid rise as one of the most influential voices in modern música Mexicana.
The Hermosillo, Sonora, native will take over the American Airlines Center as part of a 37-date North American tour that kicks off May 20 in Hidalgo, Texas, and stretches across major cities including Houston, Atlanta, Orlando, Los Angeles and Toronto, before wrapping up Oct. 9 in Portland, Oregon.
León has carved out a lane entirely his own by blending traditional Mexican sounds with American country, rock and soul influences, helping push regional Mexican music beyond its traditional borders and into the global mainstream. That boundary-breaking approach has led to collaborations with DFW darling Leon Bridges, Keith Urban and Kane Brown, while also making him the first Mexican artist ever to perform at Stagecoach, the world’s largest country music festival.
Not only has he shared the stage with country greats at institutions like the Grand Ole Opry, León has also continued to collaborate with some of Latin music’s biggest stars, including J Balvin, Maluma, Grupo Firme, Gabito Ballesteros, Xavi and Rawayana, underscoring his commitment to his Latino roots even as his sound crosses borders.
In Texas, where corridos, country and regional Mexican music naturally intersect, León’s sound feels especially at home. His ability to balance raw storytelling with arena ready hooks has turned him into a cross cultural figure, one who resonates with longtime fans of música Mexicana as well as listeners discovering the genre for the first time.
The Dallas stop comes at a pivotal moment in León’s career. Later this year, he is set to make history once again as the first Mexican artist to perform at Las Vegas’ Sphere, the futuristic, nearly 360-degree venue that has transformed shows by the Eagles, the Grateful Dead, Backstreet Boys and John Summit into immersive audiovisual spectacles. The milestone reflects both León’s artistic ambition and the growing presence of Mexican music on the world’s biggest stages.
“Returning to the United States and Canada to reunite with my people fills me with excitement,” León said in a press release sent to the Observer. “I’m returning with new songs and all the history we’ve built together. De Sonora para el mundo. See you soon, mi gente.”
Tickets for the Dallas date will be available through a mix of presales, including American Express and Spotify, before going on sale to the general public Friday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. local time.
Tour Norteamérica 2026 marks León’s return to U.S. arenas following his 2024 Boca Chueca Tour, which included a sold out Madison Square Garden performance and a historic appearance at RODEOHOUSTON, where he played to more than 70,000 fans, further cementing his status as one of the most important Mexican artists of his generation.
