Yesterday, of course, was the fourth anniversary of Dimebag Darrell’s untimely death–which probably explains the large amount of information we keep finding about him and the biographies being written about him and whatnot of late.

And, sorry we didn’t post this yesterday when it went up, but, to commemorate the man, Dean Guitars has turned its web site into something of a Dimebag memorial, where you can read about Dime, discuss him on message boards and even view some video–including a pretty nice little clip of the all-star Dime tribute that took place at this year’s Ozzfest.

Say what you want about Pantera–or even Damageplan. But the fact that the guy’s been gone four years and we still have this much to write about him on a weekly basis says a lot about him and what he was able to do in his time. —Pete Freedman
