“Experimental” falls short of describing most of the Dirty Projectors’ output, although the recently released Swing Low Magellan edges a bit closer to conventional song structures. While the recorded music is probably more admired than enjoyed, the band has been quite a treat to watch mature. Opening the show is Baltimore duo Wye Oak, whose acclaimed 2011 release Civilian was produced by John Congleton. Singer/guitarist Jenn Wasner has a placid voice, the perfect parallel to drummer/keyboardist Andy Stack.
