Someone done went and messed up: This news — that Erykah Badu was in London recently to record vocals for the upcoming, debut release from Gorillaz and Blur mastermind Damon Albarn and his new, as-yet-untitled supergroup with Red Hot Chili Pepper bassist Flea — wasn’t supposed to be public information.
Not yet, at least.
But now it’s out there — all because some Mineapolis rapper named M.anifest, who was flown out to participate in the project, was so excited about his involvement that he geeked out and posted about it to Twitter, calling the whole experience “surreal.”
So? Social media strikes again!

Baller!
Anyway, we hear Badu’s got a couple other high-profile collaborations in the works, too. But, um, we can’t get those rumors confirmed just yet. So, uh, stay tuned? Yes. Please do.
