The headline pretty much says it all here, so no need to harp too much on this latest bit of news from the NX35, which was recently referred to as "SXSW's baby cousin" by the folks at Pitchfork. You know Telegraph Canyon and the fast-rising Final Club already. Indian Jewelry comes Denton's way via Houston and Peasant will be coming into town all the way from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. This Will Destroy You, meanwhile, comes from Austin last I checked, although, I'm blanking on what it is right now, but I think there's a DFW tie there, too.

Anyway, the most important news from this latest release is this: Single-night wristband passes for Saturday night at NX35 have already sold out. So you might wanna hurry up and get your weekend passes now...

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
