Gutterth’s Compilation One will finally be available tomorrow, July 23. You can take a peek at the artists and songs included on the two-CD compilation at this page on Gutterth’s site. It’s packed with great bands and solo acts–Emil Rapstine, The Great Tyrant and MOM, to name a few—along with a couple of head-scratchers (Fair to Midland?).

The compilation is free and will be available at Gutterth events and select locations in the area. For the house-bound, it’ll also be downloadable as a single .zip folder or as individual mp3s.

The Carrollton DOMA-nominated record label, promotion crew, art production outfit and booking company will celebrate the release at J&J’s Pizza in Denton at 8 p.m. tomorrow. The show doubles as the tour kickoff for New Science Projects (whose latest album is awesome, btw), with support acts Sean Kirkpatrick and Delmore Pilcrow; all three acts also have tracks on the compilation. I can hardly think of a better place to enjoy hot pizza and cold Lone Star tomorrow night. —Jesse Hughey
