Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
Last week, in a blog post about my favorite band from Cowtown, The Cut*Off, I mentioned how the band would be part of this Saturday's Texas Showcase Showdown at the House of Blues. Well, Cut*Off guitarist Jayson Hamilton just sent me an emailing detailing the line-up and schedule for this hopping event.
Jump for the room and time schedules for this $10, 10-band, all-HOB access affair.
In the Main Room...
12:30 a.m.: What Made Milwaukee Famous
11:30 p.m.: Telegraph Canyon
10:30 p.m.: Doug Burr
9:30 p.m.: The Orbans
8:30 p.m.: Little Black Dress
And in The Pontiac Garage:
12 a.m.: Black Joe Lewis
11 p.m.: Dove Hunter
10 p.m.: The Cut*Off
9 p.m.: Matthew and the Arrogant Sea
8 p.m.: Elkhart
As I stated previously, that's a GREAT line-up. And the $10 admission includes the right to go back and forth between rooms.
I, for one, will be there, zigzagging my inebriated ass back and forth, trying to catch as much Texas music as possible. You should. too...
