The Cavern’s concert calendar has been a little bit dry of late, but that changes somewhat this weekend with Saturday night’s lineup of Throw Me The Statue, The Brunettes and Nurses rolling through town as part of an impressive touring triple-bill.
In this week’s paper, contributor Chris Parker champions the virtues of the Seattle-based headliners, Throw Me The Statue, favorably comparing the act to a marriage of The Shins, Belle & Sebastian, Built To Spill and The New Pornographers.
