Spindrift has been generating a lot of buzz lately with its droned-out, slightly creepy spaghetti western rock. Surely, it hasn’t hurt that the band’s comprised of members from the Warlocks and Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Tonight, the tiny stage at the City Tavern will be a tight squeeze as seven-piece psychedelic act passes through town in support of its new record, The West. Chances are the City Tavern will be nuts-to-butts as well, thanks to an opening performance from DC9 favorite True Widow.
