South Africa natives Civil Twilight create beautiful, heavy-hearted ballads, with ringing vocals and quiet, slow-building instrumentation -- music that is soothing and disheartening at the same time. But, while they draw easy comparisons to U2 and Radiohead, Civil Twilight's delicate and skilled performance style will be sure to distinguish them from the likes of their predecessors as they grow their own unique fan base.

The band has recently been calling Nashville home, moving there to work on their first album, a self-titled work that they're now on tour to promote. Fortunately for us, this tour will make a stop at The Loft tonight.

And, lucky for you, The Loft has been kind enough to provide us with five pairs of tickets to give to some lucky DC9 readers for the show. Want to hear some beautiful music tonight? Find out how to win after the jump.

Want the tickets? Just be among the first five people to email Pete, starting right now, with the words "Civil Disobedience" in the subject line, and you're in. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
