Pretty cool, right? Eh, no big deal–just more of the same goodness from a band that straddles the sublime and the ridiculous with its sound. And tonight’s Granada show should be a good example of that, as the band shares the bill with Portland’s Experimental Dental School, Brooklyn’s Flying and fellow Bay Area-bred act Hawnay Troof, a collection of equally as out there, but lesser known support acts.

Oh, and, lucky you, the Granada people have been good enough to pass along three pairs of tickets to DC9 readers. So, for the first giveaway in a big day of giveaways, the first three people to email me with “ChooChooChooChooBeepBeep” in the subject line get ’em. It’s that easy. Jump to it.

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners. —Pete Freedman
