From being laid off his job to releasing his new album O Ye Devastator, Doug Burr sure has had an interesting year with a lot to talk about. His new-found freedom has allowed him to do that, playing more live shows in more places. That includes launching his 2010 Midwest Tour by playing Saturday night in Denton at Hailey’s with Corey Chisel and Monahans.
Our opinion of Doug Burr’s spiritual folk music hasn’t changed. His song “The Righteous Will Rejoice” had the prestige of being 19th on 2009’s Best Songs in Dallas Music.
On that note, we’re excited that the folks at Hailey’s have
been kind enough to pass along free tickets to the event.
