Yesterday on DC9, Daniel Hopkins caught up with Gareth Campesinos, frontman for the Welsh eight-piece indie pop-punk outfit Los Campesinos!, to talk about the band’s most recent release (Romance Is Boring), the differences between U.S. and U.K. audiences (there are plenty) and what it’s like touring as an eight-piece (not so bad, it turns out).

And, for added measure, Jeff Gage talked up the band’s performance tonight at the Granada Theater in this weeks paper. Writes Gage:

Three years on from their initial, sunny blast into stardom, the band
cut down on shouting and wordplay on Romance Is Boring while smoothing
