Someone at MTV sure must like Fort Worth’s Green River Ordinance, ’cause, on Sunday night, the fellas in the band saw not one, but a whopping two songs played on the season finale of the channel’s not-quite-reality show, The Hills: “Out of My Hands,” which got some early airplay in the hour-long episode, and “On Your Own,” which ended the show and, in turn, star Lauren Conrad’s run on the series.

Even more surprising, though, is that this isn’t even the Virgin-signed band’s first go-round on the series. Earlier this year, the show, no stranger to placing area bands onto its soundtrack, played the band’s song “Outside.”

Who do they think they are? The Bright?
