Damn, Janet Jackson was in Bishop Arts last night?
Jackson was in Dallas for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Centennial Celebration, honoring 100 years of impact in North Texas. She was one of the star performers with Blake Shelton, who closed out the night with a performance at the Cotton Bowl. We’ll have a review of the show on Monday, but here are some clips.

LadyLove is poppin’ these days. After Doechii’s recent appearance a few weeks ago, Jackson came through to the record lounge to kick back with her friends. DJ Sober holds a monthly party and Saturday’s edition had guest sets from Alan Palomo (Neon Indian) and Riti.
Palomo shared footage from the night below.
Sober shared his excitement that the Janet Jackson listened to his and Palomo’s sets, explaining that she was one of his favorite artists.

The stars seem to love Bishop Arts after Leon Bridges spent a weekend there and busked with another artist. The New York Times just highlighted Bishop Arts as an “eclectic Dallas enclave,” mentioning spots like Revelers Hall and The Texas Theatre. We don’t mind that Bishop Arts and LadyLove are having a moment right now.
Here’s the rest of LadyLove’s November calendar below. Pick a day and go have a fun night, maybe you’ll run into a celebrity.
