Jeff Klein wants to sex you up–indie-rock style. Between his raspy voice and intimate Southern gothic slow jams, who could resist? He even recorded his latest album, The Hustler, in sin-filled New Orleans, enlisting producer and fellow panty-dropper Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers) to turn up the bedroom ambience. Other guests on his third album include Ani Difranco, Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum) and an Australian stripper Klein met in a New Orleans bar. While it’s doubtful any exotic dancers will make it to this show, his tortured singer-songwriter act should steam up the Gypsy Team Room just the same.
