With their skinny suits, hook-happy songs and penchant for handclapping, it’s tempting to write Locksley off as a group not to be bothered with. But don’t let the glossy clarity of their album Don’t Make Me Wait fool you; while a little too neat and pretty, the disc seems to promise a darn good live show.

Actually, as a whole, Locksley, as in “Robin of,” is a bit of an oddity. Still unsigned, the Wisconsin-born musicians have been steadily making a name for themselves through commercials. Of course, that’s easier to do when MTV is pushing you: This tour stop from Locksley comes as the band headlines this election year’s Choose or Lose tour.
