M83 at Granada Theater, Andrew Bird at Majestic Theatre, and More Show Announcements

As we approach the end of the year like a car full of people not wearing seat belts unknowingly drives toward a brick wall, it's time to start thinking of year-end top-ten album lists. A shoe-in for ours is M83's Hurry Up, We're Dreaming

So, you can imagine our excitement when we received an email from Granada Theater informing us they'll be here on Saturday, May 19. This show will sell out quickly, so make your way over to the Granada Theater's ticket website on Friday, when tickets will be available for $30.

In other buzzworthy indie pop news, multi-instrumentalist "Idiot's Genius," Andrew Bird, will be making an appearance on Thursday, March 15, at the Majestic Theatre, where the acoustics will be well-suited the folk-pop singer's stylings.

Bird will be joined by Eugene Mirman, and tickets for the event will cost $37.20 at Andrew Bird's website. The price may seem a little steep, but included in the cost of each ticket is a free download of two EPs and his forthcoming album, Break It Yourself, which will be out on March 6, only a week before his Dallas performance.

More show announcements, including The Lemonheads, King Khan & The Shrines, Neon Indian, LA Guns, Skylar Grey and more after the jump.
