Mariah Carey’s holiday bar is returning to four major cities, but Dallas isn’t one of them.

Last year, Carey’s Black Irish Holiday Bar set up shop at the Virgin Hotel, teaming up with Bucket Listers. For just $20, you get a free drink and are entered into the festive, fully-decorated holiday oasis. People were encouraged to wear their best cozy holiday outfits. It was filled with Instagram-worthy moments and a chance to sing your favorite Mariah tunes throughout the night.

Black Irish cream was the liqueur of choice. We remember they made a little Christmas tree out of just the bottles.

The cocktails were named in true Mariah Carey fashion, such as the Make My Wish Come True Martini, the MC Martini, It’s Time!, What More Can I Do Martini and Queen of Christmas Cocoa.

The pop-up bar will run from mid-November through December. According to People, this year’s launch dates and locations are:

  • Thursday, Nov. 13 – Los Angeles, Mondrian Sky Bar
  • Friday, Nov. 14 – New York, UNTITLED at 3 Freeman Alley
  • Thursday, Nov. 20 – Miami, Ray’s @ Broken Shaker
  • Friday, Nov. 28 – Las Vegas, On The Record

This year isn’t much different than last year. Fans still get to live out their dreams of stepping into a Mariah Carey Christmas special. Dubbed a “glittery holiday wonderland,” you’ll get Santa’s Sleigh photo-ops. There are specialty drinks such as the signature espresso martini with a candy cane rim, a white chocolate martini topped with cotton candy and glitter and a cocoa coffee spiked with Black Irish cream and finished with red and green sprinkles.

On the music side, Carey owns the title of Queen of Christmas. “All I Want for Christmas Is You” practically plays on loop, and there’s a lyric wall if you miss some of them. A wreath will be inspired by Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, an Apple TV+ original soundtrack that was a hit in 2020. We’re sure there will be more album backdrop recreations you can do as well.

All of this Christmas cheer during Halloween is making us wish Carey would come back to Dallas. We had a blast trying out the drinks and food last year. With the colder months ahead, we’d love to start celebrating Christmas in November, as it’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. Her nostalgic pop-up around the country will have us reminiscing over the Tini Tree.
