Aww. Marilyn and Twiggy back in the day.Typically, I wouldn’t make a mention of Marilyn Manson coming to town. Maybe it’s the heavy metal documentary I watched last night on VH1 Classic having a residual effect, but it looks like the shock rocker’s February 29 at the House of Blues might be worth hitting up. Manson has reunited with original bassist Twiggy Ramirez, who co-wrote the band’s two biggest albums Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals. Twiggy and Marilyn Manson split back in 2002 with the catch all “going different directions.” (Why do band breakup explanations always remind me of divorce papers?) Manson does some weird shit on his own, but with his BFF at his side there’s a chance things will get wild. On the off chance things go down in Dallas, I want to see it. — Chelsea Ide

PS. What’s up with it being concert announcement week? Thoughts?
