Index Fest, which takes place in Deep Ellum on October 18 and 19, already announced three waves of bands, including Andrew Bird, Run the Jewels, Jason Isbell, Titus Andronicus and a ton of great North Texas bands.
Today, they've sweetened the pot further with another batch of bands. This one includes some of the daring fringe, most notably in Marnie Stern and Glassjaw. Also added are notable locals like Baptist Generals, Calhoun, Ronnie Heart, Dustin Cavazos and plenty more. I can't remember the exact content of the first three announcements, but some of today's names, I think, were already on the bill. Either way. They're playing, everyone's playing, this lineup gets more impressive by the week. Here are the new additions:
