Over at Pitchfork today, area sun-drenched retro-pop outfit Neon Indian (side project of Vega, your DOMA-winning Best Dance/Electronica Act) has been awarded a Best New Music tag for its song “Deadbeat Summer.”

Neon Indian’s debut, Psychic Chasms, will be released on October 13. And, go ahead, stream “Deadbeat Summer” after the jump.
