As new Club Dada owner Josh Florence told us last week, it wouldn’t be long before crews entered the facilities at the Elm Street venue to start work on the many renovations planned to take place in the next few months. And, indeed, as the above photo passed along to DC9 HQ by Florence this afternoon shows, work is already underway; the much-debated middle bar in the main performance room is getting, as the kids say, “tore up from the floor up.”
Or, as an Observer sales rep who was just down in the neighborhood told me upon his return to the office: “Man, they’re really tearing that shit apart, aren’t they?”
Sure looks it.
