Ben Folds returned to the Meyerson Symphony Center last night to accompany the DSO in a night of classed-up favorites and a few new tunes.

Conductor and pianist Rei Hotoda led the orchestra beside Folds at the piano. The old Ben Folds Five tune “Smoke” came up early in the night, along with his more recent “All U Can Eat”–a song partly conceived in a Denny’s, Folds said, “just like me.”
