After stopping by some Record Store Day festivities on Saturday (expect a slideshow from Good Records’ celebration soon), I hopped on over to the House of Blues to take care of some last-minute reporting on Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, subject of the cover feature in this week’s up-and-coming Observer. It was the Atlantic-signed band’s local CD release show, featuring performances from fellow locals The Orbans and The Roomsounds. Read all about it come Wednesday and/or Thursday (depending on your drop box location, y’know).
Oh! Andrew Shepherd was there, too, making sure all the boys in the bands looked pretty on film. I think he did OK.
